The library has OPAC to provide details of its resources. Users can search details about books, periodicals, CDs, question banks, compliment books, periodical compact disks, floppy disks, and audio cassettes within the library.

  • Students and staff shall scan their ID card in the E-Gate Register scanner while entering and leaving the library.
  • Books shall be issued only on production of a bar-coded ID card.
  • Strict silence shall be maintained in the library.
  • UG I and II year students can borrow one book. UG III year students can borrow two books. PG I and II year students can borrow two books and one project.
  • Students can keep books for 15 days, and staff members can keep borrowed books for 3 months.
  • Books should be returned on or before the due date marked on the date label.
  • A penalty of one rupee will be charged per day after the due date for books.
  • Absence from the institute will not be accepted as an excuse for delay in returning books.
  • Personal belongings such as files, folders, bags, and personal books are not allowed inside the library and should be kept on the rack at the entrance.
  • Mobile phones and other devices should be in silent mode.
  • Laptops may be used inside the library without audio.
  • Library books should be handled with utmost care. Marking, scribbling, folding pages, or damaging books will invite a penalty.
